2007Mar9: Some US government scientists are not allowed to talk about subjects like polar bears, sea ice, and global warming at meetings held abroad. “This [George W. Bush] administration has a long history of censoring speech and science on global warming”, Eben Burnham-Snyder of the Natural Resources Defense Council said in an interview with CNN (SF Chronicle, 2007).
