2007Apr2: A Mexico City regulation mandates that government officials bike to work at least once a month. The program is called Corridors of Unmotorised Movement. Pedal your City, was proposed by Mayor Marcelo Ebrard in 2005. The program’s goal is to reduce traffic, pollution, and disease (BBC, 2007).
