2007Apr16: According to the “National Security and the Threat of Climate Change” study, global warming will become a “threat multiplier for instability” and push failing states over the edge. Climate change threats include the reduced access to fresh water, diminished food production, spreading diseases, erosion of coasts and increasing flooding, and displacing of millions (US Senate Testimony).
