2007July12: Negative consequences of climate change in the Northeast US.

2007July12: A Union of Concerned Scientists report projects negative consequences of climate change on the economy, tourism industry, coastline, and agricultural production in nine states in the Northeast US. The report is titled, “Confronting Climate Change in the US Northeast.” The scientists urge the adoption of mitigation and adaptation strategies (Physorg, 2007).
