2007: High-risk insurance pool doubles between 2003 and 2007.

2007: The Massachusetts state sponsored high-risk insurance pool doubles between 2003 and 2007, making it the largest single homeowners’ insurance carrier in the state. Total policies reached 200,000 policies in 2007. 44% of Cape Cod homeowners are covered by the plan (NY Times, 2007).
