2008Jan16: According to The Marine Climate Change Impacts Partnership (MCCIP), a UK government-sponsored commission, report, the black-legged kittiwake’s “poor breeding success and reduced survival in recent years have been strongly linked to warmer winters and changes to their fish prey populations” (BBC, 2008).
