2008: More efficient refrigerators have saved the US power.

2008: More efficient refrigerators have saved the US more than 200 terawatt-hours annually or about 80 power plants’ worth of energy, according to Art Rosenfeld, a member of the California Energy Commission (The Economist, 2008).
