2008May28: Increases in atmospheric CO2 concentrations from human activities is influencing climate patterns and vegetation across the US and will significantly disrupt water supplies, agriculture, forestry and ecosystems for decades, according to “The Effects of Climate Change on Agriculture, Land Resources, Water Resources and Biodiversity in the United States,” a US federal report (NY Times, 2008).
