2008Oct10: Most of the 171 forest species studied by a group of researchers in Western Europe are shifting their favored locations to higher, cooler areas. This research makes the “fingerprints of climate change” visible in the distribution of plants by altitude, said Jonathan Lenoir of AgroParisTech in Nancy, France (CNN, 2008).
