2009May25: $221 billion of China’s $586 billion stimulus package has green features, including energy conservation, emission control and environmental protection projects, making it the largest green stimulus package in the world, according to HSBC estimates. The US has the second largest green stimulus package at $112 billion, and South Korea has the third largest green stimulus package at $31 billion (China Daily, 2009).
