2009Oct29: From a statement issued by leaders from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Baha’i, Jain, and Zoroastrian faiths: “We recognise unequivocally that there is a moral imperative to tackle the causes of global warming.” The leaders called on the UK and other G20 governments to sign a treaty in Copenhagen that would cut global greenhouse gas emissions. The meeting was hosted by the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams (Telegraph.co.uk).
